What is the best part about being a Rooseveltian?

The best part of being a Rooseveltian is the atmosphere and environment. We are a diverse, friendly, close-knit community located in the heart of Chicago, a city that offers vast opportunities, activities, and experiences. 

Favorite Chicagoland event

My favorite Chicago event is the Taste of Chicago, the world’s largest food festival, because I love food! Plus, the Taste of Chicago is in the perfect location, Grant Park, right across from RU’s Chicago campus.

Favorite fun fact about Roosevelt

Our students, faculty, staff, and community get together each year to participate in our annual community service event, New Deal Service Days. New Deal Service Days offers the RU community a chance to work together as a team while helping those in need. This year I volunteered my painting skills at St. Michael the Archangel, a church/school in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. 

Favorite Neighborhood in Chicago

My favorite Chicago neighborhood is Rogers Park because it is the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in Chicago, and it is close to the beach.

Chicago style hot dog or Chicago style pizza?

Chicago style hot dog with everything on it. I am actually not a big pizza fan.

Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, Sox?

GO Bulls! GO Bears! GO Cubs! They haven't had the best seasons in the past, but I'm from the North side and I'm still loyal!
