"Oh the weather outside may be frightful, but a cocktail is most delightful"
The Loop/Lake Shore and the South Side Alumni Chapters
are planning a Holiday Party and we want all of our alumni there.
This year, the two chapters are teaming up and going international,
meeting at one of the city's hippest and most exciting restaurants.
While munching on delicious tapas and sipping Sangria,
come and enjoy a fun evening with the RU community.
And bring your friends too - the more the merrier!
We will be selling raffle tickets for great prizes throughout the night.
For those of you who want to donate items, please contact the
Event Chair, La'Shon Anthony, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Let's celebrate the season with good friends and good cheer!
We joined RU President Chuck Middleton to share fond memories at the Loop/Lake Shore Hidden History event
We had a wonderful time listening to Professor Stuart Warner, who led a discussion
on the great film Being There, starring Peter Sellers
Below are pictures from our What Now? How the November Elections Will Impact Chicago and the Nation. This was our November 8th post-election event, where we were lucky enough to have RU faculty members Prof. David Faris and Prof. Nasar Javaid share their thoughts on President Barack Obama's re-election, and what it means for the city, country as well as the world. The event was a huge success bringing in not just RU alumni, but students, faculty, and staff, as well.
We'd like to thank Prof. Javaid and Prof. Faris for talking with us and sharing their expertise.
