Roosevelt University and the Heller College of Business fully support academic credit for your internship experience. The Careers College™

One of our very own HCB Business Incubator companies, The Careers College™, is in the business of helping you find a job. With their innovative, online job search and career transition offerings, The Careers College™ will help you prepare for your career search with interactive learning modules and  free career resources. Furthermore, current Heller College of Business students can get access to the Careers College™ free of charge (contact Assistant Dean Melissa Stutz for details).

Partners in the Community

The AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) has an online job site exclusively for business school careers.

Accounting Students can learn about new job listings in the Chicago area at AfterCollege Monthly Digest for Roosevelt University Accounting Program Students.

For a once in a lifetime internship experience, check out WISH Internships which matches qualified students with premier internships in the Washington, DC area. Their WISH Intern Spotlight for Spring 2013 is a Finance student from the University of Houston.

New Sector is a group that matches non-profits to student interns and new hires. Roosevelt University is working with them because we have social entrepreneurship and a mission that supports non-profit interests. Students in the program not only work for the institution but also receive leadership training.

Career opportunities can arise at any time. Roosevelt University’s Heller College of Business has partnered with Career Transitions Center (CTC) to ensure our alumni are prepared to shine!  In today's dynamic job market, ongoing career management is essential.  An outstanding resume, along with interview and networking skills are the strategic tools that will keep you prepared for career opportunities, anticipated and unanticipated. 

CTC offers a rich array of resources to help professionals meet their career goals:

  • One-on-one and group sessions with career coaches
  • Weekly seminars on navigating transitions, successful search techniques, and relevant professional development
  • Access to the business center with telephones, fax and copy machines and high speed internet
  • An on-site library with sources of career information and job search help
  • Special Programs on entrepreneurship, self-awareness / assessment and creative career direction
