Early Childhood Education - Graduate

Two distinct programs are offered at the graduate level.  The Master of Arts (MA) in Early Childhood Education is designed for students who want to earn an early childhood teaching certificate and work with children from birth through grade three.  The program provides the background in early childhood education leading to the Type 04 certification by the State of Illinois.

The Master of Arts (MA) in Early Childhood Professions is a 36-hour program that addresses the diversity of professions within the early childhood field.  This program is for experienced early educators who want to learn about current research and prepare themselves as leaders in the field.  Contact Admissions for further information.
