MFA Program Reading with Peggy Shinner

The MFA Program in Creative Writing is hosting a reading by Peggy Shinner, interim director of the Roosevelt University MFA in Creative Writing Program. Shinner writes both nonfiction and fiction, and her work has appeared in The Southern Review, Colorado Review, The Gettysburg Review, and many others. She has been awarded two Illinois Arts Council Fellowships, residencies at the Ucross and Ragdale Foundations, and a fellowship at Ausable Press. Her book, Jewish Feet and Other Tales of the Body, will be published by the University of Chicago Press in 2014. Free and open to the public.
