The Department of Economics is sponsoring a talk with Borko Jovanovic, Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, titled Why Most Published Research Results are False. Professor Jovanovic is a biostatistician at with a focus on basic science, clinical trials, and epidemiology. The author of more than 85 scientific journal publications, on topics from breast cancer to translational medicine, Dr. Jovanovic has wide experience of areas where science goes right and where it goes wrong.
