Roosevelt Institute Senior Fellow Jeff Madrick presents "Rediscovering Government," a conversation about the history and future role of government in American society. Madrick is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books and is editor of Challenge Magazine. He is the author of several books, including Taking America and The End of Affluence, both of which were New York Times Notable Books of the Year. His latest book is Age of Greed, The Triumph of Finance and the Decline of America, 1970 to the Present. Sponsored by the Roosevelt University Center for New Deal Studies and the Roosevelt Institute, Hyde Park, New York. Free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
