Roosevelt University

Graduate IMC & Journalism Information Session

Event Date: 11/07/2012
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Location: Schaumburg Campus: Room 620

The Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Program started at Roosevelt in 1976 and has been one of the university’s most popular graduate programs ever since. Ours is one of the largest IMC master’s degree programs in the United States according to Ross and Johnson. Being a large program means that we have the flexibility to offer a large selection of classes every semester so students can continue their program at their own pace. We have an outstanding faculty who bring years of experience in both professional and academic practice to the classroom every day. The Chicago-area (including its suburbs), home to a multitude of marketers, marketing organizations and marketing services agencies, is truly an amazing place to study and learn marketing and marketing communications.

The Master of Science in Journalism Program focuses on preparing students with the skills to succeed in print, broadcast, or online journalism. Aided by our high technology Mac computer lab, identified as one of the most high-end labs in Chicago by Apple, our students have the opportunity to produce full prototypes of publications that they report, write, photograph, and design. Faculty members, some of whom are award-winning journalists, are able to work closely with students due to our small class sizes. At the end of your studies you will also be required to complete an internship at one of the many exciting Chicago area placements.

This special information session is offering you the opportunity to learn more about the IMC and Journalism programs, meet with faculty members, and speak to representatives from the Office of Graduate Admission. Register to attend and learn more about our programs. For more information, contact the Office of Admission at applyRU@roosevelt.edu or call 877-277-5978.
