Activism Boot Camp

Event Date: 03/09/2013
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Location: WB 317

Students for Sensible Drug Policy's (SSDP) RU chapter will hold an Activism Boot Camp from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 9 at the Chicago Campus in the Wabash Building, Room 317. The Roosevelt community is invited to attend. Registration is free for all Roosevelt students, who should sign up using the code RooseveltSSDP.

SSDP staff in Washington, D.C. chose our chapter to host this event, and D.C. staff will be on hand for the boot camp, making a variety of presentations on activism. While much of the discussion will relate to activism on drug policy issues, the information being provided can be useful and easily applied to any advocacy issue or campaign.

After the boot camp, a networking/social event will be held at Plymouth Restaurant, 327 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago.
