Award-winning pianists perform in Schaumburg's Alumni Hall

Award-winning pianists from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts gave a recital at the university's Schaumburg campus Tuesday afternoon, previewing a live broadcast of their performances at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 on WFMT radio, 98.7 FM.

The chosen performers all live in Chicago now, but come from all over the world.

Chanmi Ryu is a native of South Korea and now a resident of Chicago's West Loop.

Allegra Sorley lives in the South Loop and is a junior piano performance major from the Indianapolis area.

Jana Pavlovska is a resident of Chicago's Gold Coast and hails from Macedonia.

John Urban, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., currently lives in the Logan Square neighborhood.

Alice Chenyang, a native of Sichuan, China, lives in the South Loop.

SangHee Han, born in Korea, now lives on Roosevelt's Chicago campus and is studying for her master's degree in music.

Enriqueta Somarriba, a Roosevelt University student born in Spain, performed Haydn Sonata in C major.
