Introducing the Real Estate Club Leadership Team 2012-2013

Mission:

The Roosevelt University Real Estate Club is designed to provide students and alumni an avenue to connect to the real estate community through online media, guest speaker workshops and professional networking events.

Who Can Join:

The club invites all of Roosevelt's MSRE and MBA/RE candidates and alumni to join.  There is no cost to be a member.

David Lambiaso,  President - is a Master of Science in Real Estate candidate and a Northern Builders Scholarship and mentorship program recipient.  After attending University of Southern California and later graduating from Boston Conservatory of Music, Mr. Lambiaso began his real estate career in the residential market of Boston.  After six years in the residential market, two of which he ran his own residential brokerage firm.  Mr. Lambiaso moved to Chicago to gain knowledge and experience in the Commercial and Industrial real estate markets through the guidance of the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate at Roosevelt University.

Chase Morris, Vice President - Chase Morris is a native of Chicago, Illinois born and raised in the Bronzeville Community.  In July of 2010 he received his Bachelor Degree of Urban Planning and Development with minor in Real Estate Development from Ball State University.  As a college graduate, he was hired by the Northwestern Indian Regional Planning Commision to assist with designing and facilitating community outreach forums and the preparation of their Community Regional Plan  for Lake County, and LaPorte County, Indiana.

In 2011, he embarked on several consulting projects, working with community based institutions performing research focused on attracting economic development initiatives in the Bronzeville Community.  He was recently accepted into Roosevelt University's Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, pursuing his Masters of Business Administration in Real Estate.  He has an interest in merging his Urban Planning and real estate knowledge to promote and develop sustainable communities.

Drakia Wilkins,Treasurer - Drakia Wilkins is a native of Detroit Michigan and hopes to be apart of its redevelopment in the years to come.  Drakia received her B. S. in Real Estate from DePaul Univeristy.  She is currently a candidate for her M.S. in Real Estate at Roosevelt University where she a Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Scholarship recipient. 

Drakia is an Associate Tenant Representation Broker with Jones Lang LaSalle.  She specializes in the downtown Office Brokerage for businesses of every kind, inlcuding some of Chicago's newest tech startups.  She enjoys business development and networking the Chicago business community.  In her role as an Associate Broker, she is responsible for developing and nurturing new business opportunities with Jones Lang LaSalle.  Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, she was a Research Associate for the Senior Regional Vice President of Duke Realty.  She researched the International and Midwest real estate markets for decision makers of the Midwest region.  She has also had successful stints at CBRE, where she excelled in property management for one of Chicago's downtown "A" class buildings.  Prior to that, she proved herself to be an asset as a Research Assistant for Skidmore Owings & Merrill's Chicago office.
