FERPA Consent Form

All scholarship applicants must sign this FERPA consent form, granting access to their education records to the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate Scholarship Committee members.  This form does not need to be renewed and will stay in effect through graduation.  Please include this form with your scholarship submissions.

Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders 

Goldie B. Wolfe Miller has achieved success in commercial real estate in the Chicago region and serves as a role model for successful women in the industry. She continues to strive to increase the resources available to women to make further advances in the field of commercial real estate.

The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative was started in 2007 to promote women in the commercial real estate industry to achieve leadership positions. By educating, encouraging and supporting women in this industry, the goal is to prepare them for senior leadership roles in all sectors of commercial real estate. The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative provides scholarships, mentorships and networking to women in all facets of the real estate industry.

Roldan Future Hispanic Leaders

Hipolito Roldan, President, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation (HHDC) oversees a wide range of community development activities. HHDC seeks to stabilize and enhance Latino communities by developing, managing and investing in ventures that increase the availability of affordable housing, promote economic opportunity and enhance the quality of life.

In 1988, Mr. Roldan was awarded the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship for his work in community development. He has committed funds from his fellowship for the establishment of the TOMORROW'S HISPANIC LEADERS IN REAL ESTATE program. The program is designed to give opportunities to students to obtain a graduate degree that combines academic and "hands on" experience in community development and real estate. The program would also be tailored to compliment the pioneering work Mr. Roldan has accomplished through HHDC over the past 30 years.

Northern Builders Future Industrial Leaders 

The goal of the Northern Builders Scholarship is to recruit, educate, financially assist and support early and mid-career persons in leadership track positions in the Chicago industrial real estate field. the scholarship is administered through the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate in cooperation with the Chicago Chapter, SIOR. Graduates will complete a Master of Business Administration - Real Estate (MBA/RE) or Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) in the Walter E. Heller College of Business (WEHCB).

Panovich Opportunity Fund For Real Estate Education

C. Michelle Panovich, Principal and Executive Vice President of Mid-America Asset Management, was recognized at our 12th annual gala in 2013 for her over 30 years of leadership in the industry.  At that event she, her husband Donald J. Panovich, and her colleagues announced the creation of this fund to provide scholarships and other support services to those who otherwise might not have the opportunity to obtain a graduate real estate degree.  Additional support could include industry mentor, training classes, tutoring as needed, industry events, academic counseling, and other needs identified in consultation with the student.  The fund is in full operation and applications are being accepted for summer or fall, 2014.

Institute Scholarship Fund

The goal of the Other/General Scholarship Funds are to recruit, educate, financially assist and support early and mid-career persons positions in the real estate field. Preference will be given to candidates who are economically disadvantaged. The scholarships are administered through The Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate (MBIRE). Graduates will complete a Master of Business Administration - Real Estate (MBA/RE) or Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) in the  Heller College of Business (HCB).  Scholarship assistance at a reduced level is available for the Graduate Credential in Commercial Real Estate.
