¹ In certain graduate programs, it is recommended that a maximum of nine credit hours be taken in any single semester. In some programs, no more than nine credits may be taken in any single semester. Please consult an advisor regarding your program of study.

² A doctoral student is considered full-time at 6.0 semester hours and is eligible for a CTA U-Pass and may be eligible for Federal financial aid.  The full-time tuition rate does not apply until  9.0 semester hours.

⁴ For full-time undergraduate students (except those in Performing Arts, the BPS programs in Criminal Justice; Commerce and Enterprise; and Sustainability), the general and activity fees are included in tuition. 

⁵ Non-degree/at large enrollees and those enrolled in fully online programs are exempt from the student activity fee.

⁶ Non-refundable fee applied to all full-time Chicago Campus students regardless of usage. The amount of the fee is subject to change by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).
