Stress Management

Simple steps to managing your day to day stress (source: American Psychological Association, apa.org)

  • Understand how you experience stress. Identify your stress signals.
  • Identify your sources of stress. What events or situations trigger stressful feelings.
  • Find healthy ways to manage stress. Consider healthy, stress-reducing activities, and focus on changing one behavior at a time.
  • Take care of yourself, no matter what. Eat right, get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, and engage in regular physical activities.
  • Don’t hesitate to reach out for support. Be resourceful in managing your stress.
