Since its founding in 1945, Roosevelt University has pursued the mission of providing higher education to students of diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds without quotas or restrictions. In a variety of ways, the University has attempted to apply the values of the two great Americans for whom it is named, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.
