The Loop - A Campus that RocksThe Loop - A Campus that Rocks
Chicago Area

The Loop is a campus that rocks. Some people call it the "South Loop Education Corridor." Here's what that means: It's Roosevelt and more than half a dozen other colleges and universities all within a few blocks of each other. It's backpacks pouring off the "L" trains, bringing more that 30,000 people into the hottest mix of student life and city life you'll find anywhere. It's one-of-a-kind coffee shops mixed with art and music. It's America's largest intercontinental youth hostel right across the street from Roosevelt. It's ball games and awesome jogging and bike routes in Grant Park. It's a front-row seat to Taste of Chicago, Blues Fest, Jazz Fest, and Chicago's other lakefront celebrations.

A person could get used to this. Many students decide to make downtown Chicago their campus and their home. So Roosevelt offers furnished, dormitory-style housing to more than 1,000 students in the University Center and the Herman Crown Center. Live-in student or not, you're free to use the fitness center included in our Student Center. With a personal trainer on staff, and high-tech workout equipment, you're sure to get the exercise you need.
