How to Apply Thank you for your interest in the College of Education at Roosevelt University. Prospective graduate students apply to the College of Education through the Roosevelt University Office of Admission. You can find information about the application process on the Office of Admission's web site. Undergraduates apply for admission to the College of Education by designating one of the undergraduate teacher preparation programs—Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or Special Education—as their major. They then work closely with staff in Academic Advising and Assessment to fulfill all requirements necessary for enrollment in College of Education courses. Upon admission to graduate courses at Roosevelt University, or fulfillment of all undergraduate requirements for enrollment in education courses, students should contact and/or make an appointment with a faculty advisor in the College of Education. Your advisor will develop a program of study, and create a schedule of courses for you to take in the future. He or she also will provide you with a registration code so that you can register for courses. Please note that all teacher candidates must take and pass the Illinois Test of Basic Skills prior to enrolling in education courses. Again, thank you for your interest in the College of Education at Roosevelt University. |
