Requirements for Advanced Certificates

Advanced certificates are those that require at least a bachelor's degree for admission and are offered only at the graduate level. Several advanced certificates also require prior certification as a teacher and, in some cases, a specified number of years of experience.

Roosevelt University offers Illinois State Board of Education Approved Programs for certification in:

Pupil Personnel Services (Type 73)

• School Counselor

Administrative (Type 75)

• Principal/General Administration
• Superintendent
• Reading Specialist (Type 10)
