Welcome to the Elementary Education Department of Roosevelt University.  We are a community of learners who seek to share our passion for teaching with others.  We believe in the goal of a free and exemplary education for all children.  We are dedicated to the values of social justice and global responsibility and believe that to this end all children must have the opportunity to experience a rich and personally meaningful education. 

The College of Education at Roosevelt University offers both a graduate and undergraduate program in elementary education leading to an Illinois Type 03 initial teaching certificate at both our Chicago and Schaumburg campuses.
