Student Employment If you are a current Roosevelt student and are interested in university employment during your studies, please explore the links below. Graduate Assistantships Assistantships are awards which permit graduate students to help finance their education while gaining valuable work experience and participating in the workings of the University. Graduate assistants at Roosevelt do not teach classes, but rather perform research or other relevant duties for no more than 20 hours per week during the regular semester. More information on Graduate Assistantships Work-Study Roosevelt University, as a participating institution in the Federal Work-Study program, provides part-time employment for regular degree-seeking students who exhibit need in financing their college education. The program is available to both undergraduate and graduate students. The advantage of taking part in the Federal Work Study Program is that your employment is centered around your academic schedule. Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a Roosevelt University Financial Aid Application by April 1 for the upcoming academic year. For more information on Work-Study, click here to download the Student Employee Handbook (PDF, 296K). |
