As a resident of the University Center, you will be within walking distance from some of Chicago's most prestigious cultural and fine arts venues. Many of the city's major museums and art galleries, music centers and historic landmarks will be part of your new neighborhood. In addition, the Harold Washington Library, Grant Park, an array of great restaurants, and beautiful Lake Michigan are just blocks away. You will also enjoy the close convenience of your RU classes, labs, and favorite hangout areas.

All the Comforts of Home – and More!
In this first of its kind student residence facility, the amenities will welcome you home: Students can enjoy afternoons on the roof-top garden or working out in the fitness room. Each resident floor includes study lounges, music practice rooms, and meeting rooms for student groups. The conveniences of full dining services, retail shopping, and laundry facilities have been included to meet the needs of our students.

Getting Around Town: Public Transportation and Parking
University Center is strategically located in the heart of Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. The State Street address puts University Center on many major bus routes and within walking distance of Chicago’s famed el and subway stops. Visitors driving downtown will find convenient, but limited parking options.
