The MS in Business Analytics is designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers related to business analytics, data analytics and data science. This program equips students with the technical knowledge and skills to assist organizations in managing their data, analyzing it for insights, and implementing those insights to improve the organization.
This 2-year, full-time program consists of a mix of hybrid and online course meetings delivered on an 8-week accelerated schedule. Hybrid courses have in-person meetings on our Chicago campus. The full-time hybrid course delivery meets F1 visa requirements and is STEM designated. Admissions are open for fall and spring start dates.
This STEM-designated program builds deep technical skills via an “analytical core” that develops expertise in data preparation, analysis and communication in support of business decisions. The program also allows students to choose a concentration in one of several business areas, perfect for students who come without a business background or those with business experience who want further specialization.
Courses are delivered in a hybrid modality, blending the convenience of online education with the rich learning environment of in-person courses. Courses are scheduled on an 8-week accelerated calendar, allowing for quicker degree completion. Hybrid courses meet the requirements for international students to study, and the program is STEM-designated allowing for additional OPT/CPT.
