Welcome to Roosevelt University College of Science, Health & Pharmacy. We are an accelerated, three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program, which enables students to earn their degree and enter the workforce a full year earlier than in traditional programs. We are dedicated to helping our students become competent and compassionate pharmacists who are committed to meeting the needs of diverse patients, and advocating for patients and the profession of pharmacy. Roosevelt University was founded on the premise that all students deserve access to education. The faculty and staff at Roosevelt University College of Science, Health & Pharmacy are focused on preparing you to become a knowledgeable pharmacist who makes a difference in the lives of your patients. Our small class sizes with a 5:1 student:faculty ratio enables the faculty to get to know students. Our students know that faculty are always available to review difficult concepts, and offer advice on how best to prepare for an exam and guide students in their journey to become pharmacists.
Our experiential training is unsurpassed in pharmacy education. Our students spend their last year on clinical rotations with our own faculty at some of the most renowned health care facilities in the nation. Our clinical partners include University of Chicago Medical Center, RUSH University Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Advocate Christ Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic. In addition, our students can choose from over 35 different elective rotations including Indian Health Services, rural health centers, and the FDA.
We are proud of the success of our graduates, with a graduation rate of 95% and a job placement rate of 95%. Our graduates are making a difference for their patients and the profession as community pharmacists, home infusion specialists, and clinical pharmacists in Chicagoland and across the country.
