Our students deserve the best education possible. Through reflection and innovation, Roosevelt continues to develop new programs, resources and services. As the world changes, so do we. We prepare creative, collaborative, critical thinkers for success in an unknowable future. Each year, nearly $1 million in donations to the Annual Fund help support the day-to-day operations, initiatives and people that directly impact the quality of our students’ education.
Access to an education is a democratic right. Roosevelt will do our part to eliminate the financial barriers that keep students from successfully completing their degree. That’s why we continue to allocate a higher percentage of our annual budgets to need-based aid — maximizing the financial assistance available to qualified students. In fact, 4 out 5 Roosevelt students receive institutional scholarships or grants each year.
We will make our community more equitable for all, and we will confront the racial and socioeconomic achievement gaps amongst our students. We are well underway. Our newest DEI initiatives — within teaching, research, assessment, racial and ethnic identity; experiential learning, and student support—are all 100% donor-funded.
