About Me

I am striving to motivate the future of pharmacy through advocacy for the profession. I served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Pharmacists Association (IPhA) from 2010 to 2020, and had the honor of serving as the 7th woman President of IPhA from 2018-2019. I continue to pursue opportunities to advocate for the practice of pharmacy on local, state and national levels. I was grateful to receive the Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award from IPhA in 2014, Alumnus of the Year from Midwestern University in 2017, and Pharmacist of the Year from IPhA in 2018. I practice mindfulness meditation, and completed an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course in 2021.
On campus, I currently course coordinate the Professional Development and Leadership Course Series over 6 terms, and Practice Management in the P2 curriculum. I also serve as the advisor for the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) and Pharmacy Student Council.  We welcome you to the PharmD program at Roosevelt University!
