The Freshman Performance Project presents Here We Are
Here We Are. Earth. The X that marks our spot. 8 billion humans floating together through time and space - different backgrounds, races, religions, sexual orientation and culture - each one trying to live a life that matters, trying to define and make meaning out of our time on this pale blue dot. We build connections, we make discoveries, we learn to love. We also break hearts, overcome adversity, confront our sorrows and fears. The BFA Theatre class of 2027 presents a devised collection of songs, scenes, and dance, examining the beauty and heartbreak of what it is to be human as we share this fleeting time on earth together.
