Essay Requirements

Please include the following in your brief essay:

  1. What specific interests do you have in social change and social justice? (For example, racial, environmental and/or gender justice, immigration, homelessness).
  2. Briefly explain how and why your interest(s) developed.
  3. Have you engaged in social justice work in the past through course work or in communities? (If yes, please give some details; If no, skip to the next question).
  4. What are your plans after graduation? If you are uncertain what you will do post-graduation, (that’s fine!) explain how this Fellowship might help you figure out your path. If you already have a plan, then explain how this Fellowship might help you move in that direction?
