This Disabilities Pride Month, Roosevelt is highlighting the achievements of its students, faculty and staff from around the University.

The announcement is another historic accomplishment for the Roosevelt athletics department in its road to active NCAA Division II membership.

Roosevelt student-athletes will compete in 14 sports in the NCAA Division II conference.

The status is granted to universities with at least 25% of enrolled undergraduates that identify as Hispanic or Latino, and it allows the University to expand support services and grant applications for programs that assist first-generation Lakers.

The ceremony honored students, advisors and organizations who helped make Roosevelt an inclusive and supportive university throughout the academic year.

Four Roosevelt students have been selected to present at the “Collegiate Connections” webinar for the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy.

The multi-day event featured student research presentations representing all four colleges from the University.

These soon-to-be graduates will continue their education at several prestigious programs across the country.
