"New appointment at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (hereinafter referred to as CSO): Venezuelan violinist Gabriela Lara will join the first violin section, effective January 27, 2025.

She received her bachelor's degree in 2022 from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where she is currently pursuing a master's degree (Suzuki Pedagogy)."
