As the only graduate program in training mapped to the Association for Talent Development’s Competency Model (formerly ASTD), which sets the standard for excellence in the field, our students develop essential job-related skills.  Our courses are designed and taught by expert faculty using industry best practices, giving students a living model for their practice. Students complete their degree with a digital portfolio to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and accomplishments to future employers.

The fully online MATD program can be completed in just 12 months (or longer if preferred). Courses are delivered asynchronously in 8 weeks, with optional virtual sessions, to maximize the flexibility you need to balance your work and personal life. Class sizes are purposely kept small so students can build relationships with classmates and receive individualized attention from faculty.
