Your BA or BS degree in biology is the launchpad for a wide array of careers in health care, organismal biology, industry and science education. As a biology major, you’ll work closely with experienced faculty members in small, supportive classes and explore the connections between science and society.
This program is available to all students on our Chicago campus, and will be offered at our Schaumburg campus for new incoming Transfer students beginning in Fall 2025.
If you’re interested in research or medicine, a bachelor of science in biology will build your scientific skills with course work in biology, math, chemistry, and physics.
A bachelor of arts in biology gives you flexibility to explore other interests at Roosevelt, like public health, psychology and environmental science.
You can study ecology in Belize, conduct research with faculty on campus or take an internship at places like the Field Museum. Roosevelt students present their scholarship at local, regional and national conferences.
