Roosevelt provides a variety of diversity, equity and inclusion-focused scholarship opportunities to support our students.
The Joan Deutsch Herczeg Women Leaders Scholarship empowers young women to develop skills and strategies for self-advocacy and leadership growth, and prepares them build their own unique pathway beyond Roosevelt. Scholars participate in experiential learning opportunities with Roosevelt’s Women’s Leadership Council, gain mentorship, and build a professional network throughout one academic year.
Fostering diversity and excellence, the Al Golin Fellowship paves the path for Roosevelt University students to lead successful careers in the communications industry. Fellows participate in specialized public relations and marketing workshops, gain mentorship, and build their professional network.
The Travis Scholars is an enrichment program generously funded by the Mittie, Moselynne and Dempsey J. Travis Foundation — in honor of its namesake and Roosevelt alumnus. This program provides financial assistance to students in need, while recognizing their academic achievement, commitment to social justice and Chicago residency.
Scholars participate in a series of guided discussions — exploring themes presented in Dempsey Travis’ writings.
