About Me

Dr. Herard is a seasoned professional in higher education. She assumed her role as Assistant Teaching Professor of Educational Policy and Administration at Roosevelt University in March 2020 after serving as Teaching Professor of Management and Associate Dean of Curriculum and Assessment at Robert Morris University-Illinois. In addition to her formal roles, Dr. Herard is actively involved in global initiatives. She dedicates her spare time to advancing the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and serves as a Global Goal Ambassador for education. Dr. Herard also extends her impact by coaching community college students to foster their academic success and providing advisory services to small businesses seeking to streamline their operations. Dr. Herard's educational journey reflects a diverse set of qualifications, including a B.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, an MBA with concentrations in Human Resources Management, Strategic Planning, and Information Decision Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration. These varied areas of expertise converge to provide her with a unique, holistic perspective on education and organizational dynamics.
