The Master of Music in Multiple Woodwind Performance is a unique opportunity for versatile students to attain training and experience as woodwind doublers in a variety of performance settings, including musical theatre, studio settings and touring acts. Students have a primary instrument (saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe or bassoon) and two secondary woodwind instruments (from the same group) and perform on all three instruments during the course of study.
Along with the range of applied studio study and performance experiences, CCPA’s MM in Multiple Woodwinds degree also trains for versatility through student exposure to faculty members with expertise that spans the nation’s finest orchestral, operatic, chamber and solo settings.
We prepare students for the rigorous demands of the music profession by teaching the discipline and self-motivation necessary to achieve excellence.
The program introduces students to the traditions, operations, practices and opportunities available in performance settings across the music industry.
