Roosevelt University is proud to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Arado Connolly as the newest member of its Board of Trustees. Connolly is currently General Counsel and Executive Vice President at Sinai Health System, a safety net healthcare system serving the west and southwest sides of Chicago. Prior to her time as a healthcare lawyer, Connolly served as a registered nurse. Her careers in both healthcare and the legal system provide insight into numerous programs within the colleges at Roosevelt. Before joining the Board of Trustees, Connolly was also a member of the University’s Women’s Leadership Council.
As a healthcare lawyer, Connolly has represented hospitals and health care professionals in a variety of matters, providing practical advice to Senior Management and the Board. She is devoted to promoting equity in health outcomes and uses her legal expertise in furtherance of this goal. Connolly is also dedicated to the pursuits of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with an eye on the capabilities of higher education to positively impact the health and wellbeing of the community. She is eager to join the board of such a diverse university that champions social justice as a tenet of education.

Trustee Connolly began her time as a member of the Board of Trustees on September 27, 2023.
